Young, fun and casual, the Wine Lounge mixes new world wines, artisan cocktails and craft beers with inventive small plates like fried oysters with sriracha barbeque sauce and blue cheese coleslaw. Classic libations get a makeover, 1618 style. The margarita lightens up with fresh lemon, lime and orange juice, and the “New Fashion” gives the established whiskey drink a modern revamp with muddled orange and agave nectar. The list of more than 50 craft and import beers is organized by flavor categories running from light and golden to dark and rich. Bars, cookies and a daily selection of bon bons come in bite sizes, just right for sampling. Amply proportioned cakes and pies are on hand for those with a regular-sized sweet tooth.
